Finally got my 225 back on the road, thanks to the help of some members. Rebuilt by me and my buddy in his garage. I’m surprised on how well it runs still have pushed it to its limits yet but will after everything has settled in.

Specs
Camshaft: Howard’s 258Duration with .474 lift
Head: ported bigger valves milled .100 thousand
Carb:AVS 500 CFM
Exhaust: Cut stock manifold
Compression: 9:2:1
Transmisson: 64 a833
Rearend: 7.25 with 3.55 gear set

Tell us about the exhaust manifold. Is there only one outlet pipe from the manifold?

There’s two, the stock outlet, and the front 3 into one outlet which is cut and welded, pretty much like the dutra duals. Had headers but it was really tight in a early dart being a four speed also made it difficult to access anything.
 
Finally finished up the first 500 miles break in period, machine shop was telling me to run 10w40, i was thinking more on the lines of 10w30. what do you guys think
 
Do/did you sell those cut manifolds on craigslist?
If so I bought one from you a few years back..
