Got a chance to get a set of American racing wheels on marketplace for a good price. 15x8 4” back space. All I read is 4.5 back space for 15x8 but I had to give it a shot.. before was 15x7 with 255 drag radial and had room.. kinda haha. Axles are 5 on 4.5 moser with green bearings custom brackets for mustang gt caliper and rotor.

Had to cut the quarter lip, I was expecting that.. thank god the car is patina and not nice paint!

Never seen those wheels, got to like the fit, congratulations

Sorry to burst your bubble....
They look really nice BUT...

Have you sat in the car and gone over a bump?

Jacked up the car under one side of the axle?

Or turned a corner?

The rear can move laterally, and it will rotate about a point roughly in the center of the diff.

The tires will also move laterally on the rim.

You will know after you first real drive in real conditions.

Sorry to be a downer.:(

And I hope I am wrong.

I don’t mind a little rubbing. After I trimmed the rest of that sharpie line off where your circle is it’s happy. Me in it, off to one side, bouncing, lateral jouncing

The first picture Dana67Dart put up with a potential problem area circled is where my Duster rubs. It's a squared off area on the outer wheelhouse and it's very hard to beat in for clearance.
