MyMopar - Mopar Forums & Information - Service ManualsSo the original owner of this 70 Duster was a self proclaimed audiophile and was concerned about someone stealing his car. The switch is mounted between the seat and side panel on the drivers side. I have a lot of wires to remove. Spent a few hours cutting tonight. He had the battery mounted in the trunk but I think I would rather put it back to original. Many will say put in a new harness but so far I haven’t found where he hacked up the old one, just LOTS of additions. Can anyone send me a link to the wiring diagram for this car, 1970 340 4 speed Duster. Did you notice the floors? Super solid car. Thanks for your input.
Wow! I thought mine was bad through the years!
Replace it all is what I subscribe to!
that’s what I don’t want to do, the original wiring looks good and have not found anywhere it is hacked.......yet. I need to find out the routing of power to the starter and ignition so I can put that back together.
Small price to pay in the end run!
Now I'm wondering how many trips to how many different places from wherever he got that shopping cart full of wiring supplies.
Hey, this is what I ended up with after one of the field wires from the alternator burnt up. LOLNow I'm wondering how many trips to how many different places from wherever he got that shopping cart full of wiring supplies.
Bring her up to 80 and see what happens.I think there is a flux capacitor buried somewhere in this mess.
Looks professional to me, whats the problem? Hey, at least its fused!
Ya no shortage of red wire thereScrew color codes- all the wires should be red, I like red.
