Well, title pretty much lays it out. Intake manifold is going to be the short runner (30mm) Aussie Speed 2-bbl. If I run the Holley it will be the 350 cfm version. Don't know much about Webers but I keep reading good things about them. Between the 2, which would you run?

As a sixpack owner, I am much more familiar with the 2300 holleys, so that is what I would run.
Never had a weber, but I'd bet it's a pretty good carb too, but I would be much more familiar with the holley.

Here is a Holley

So the question Is, which one is going to be able to bolt up to your flange?

The Weber will make more hp, have better throttle response & use less fuel doing it....

You can get a Chinese copy of a 4412 for $216 on ebay.
(I considered buying three, and sawing the a/c flange off, for a spare sixpack manifold I have.)

How good is the quality on the Chinese copy of the Holley?

go with holley there are a lot of sizes to pick from and ford carbs will also bolt on .

I have Holley 350s on both my valiants paired to second (or third) hand offy intakes. I have been happy with them. I bought both Holley's off the Holley website from their return/refurb section for a lot cheaper and have had no issues, just normal tuning stuff. My cars are just daily/back road drivers...

I can not speak to Webers - people who use them seem to be very happy with them. Physiologically they have always felt more 'exotic' to me... Only because I've never been exposed to them. Which is ridiculous but true!

Why are yall throwing the 4412 list number around? The 4412 is the 500 Holley. He said he wants a 350.

That correction said, I'd run the Weber here. I agree with our friend down under with this. He's right.

The weber could be the better carb. But the 4412 isnt really 500 cfm. Its identical in size to the front half of a 750dp (1.375 venturi, 1.687 throttle bore), so, 375? The correction factor to rate a two barrel the same way as the four barrels we are familiar with is to divide by square root of 2, that comes out to 354 cfm.

You need to remember, a 2 barrel sizes differently, because it measures at 1.5 hg and not 3 hg like a 4 barrel. If it was really a 375, what would be the point of making a 350?

The 3" depression is the two barrel, 1.5 for the four barrel So, with more vacuum under the two barrel it appears bigger than it really is, compared to a four barrel. The "350 cfm" 2300 holley flows more like 250.
The "1350 cfm" Sixpack carbs flow around 950 if rated the same way as a four barrel would be.
