It's so simple and cheap, I don't know why I've never seen it posted before; but after seeing yet another ad looking for the hard-to-find MP throttle bracket, I figured I'd share my secret...

One thing I need to add is that if you're running an automatic, the slotted part of the kickdown linkage at the carburetor in some instances may need to be lengthened about 1 1/4 inches or so to get it into adjustment range. This depends on the style linkage you're using (there were several different designs over the years. All styles I have tried this with have worked equally well). Regardless of style, it's a simple mod. Just make a cut and add an appropriate piece of metal to lengthen it, either flat steel or round rod depending on the style of linkage.
