Ok guys and gals.....My car is in Montana and I am in NY, the person working on the car is having an issue finding a throttle bracket and cable for a conversion from a 318 set up to a mid 80's 360 with a LD340 intake and Edelbrock carb. Back in the early 70's I did a conversion from a 318 to a 340 with an LD340 and if I remember correctly I did have to modify the factory throttle bracket slightly because the LD340's runners were wider but its been close to 50 years so I may be wrong...can I get some help? I find it hard to believe that everyone that does a conversion has to buy after market parts. Mancini calls for a 24.25" cable but the problem seems to be at the carburetor where he says the cable doesn't line up with the throttle linkage.
I've used this one with success on an ld340... https://www.manciniracing.com/reenthbr.html Or see if there is any other that may work for you... Restoration Throttle Cable Brackets
