Hello, I am new here and don't know if this is the right place to post this but, I bought a 65' dart gt 273 (2 barrel) a little while ago and will start working on it soon.
The thing is, the throttle linkage is completely missing and I don't know how it's supposed to be bolted on/ connected either.
Does anyone have any tips if there is a place I can get a completely new kit with the whole linkage? Or should I try to find one complete on the used market?
I live in Sweden, so a little limited on where I can get parts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Welcome aboard! Go to classifieds and post a want ad. Also post pics, I believe 65 is unique??
@RAT ROD AL is a great member here who may have exactly what you need.
Welcome, sit back and enjoy!

Thank you for the reply! It's not super necessary right now, but I'll keep it in mind to post an ad when it comes to it

Here is some pics, dont have a lot since it hasn't been prioritized.

It's a hardtop too, Idk of they are unique or not (probably in Sweden at least) but somebody might know more

When ready, take a closeup photo of your carb and intake manifold so we can see what is missing.

If and when you get a set up- here is my set up on the 66’

Get a copy of the owners manual as there is a specific adjustment compared to other 904’s.
Good luck

Just a note...

Be sure the transmission throttle controlled lever is connected or you can cook your transmission in short order

Mymopar.com

Download your cars factory service manual and parts book

I'll second to make sure the throttle pressure linkage is connected from the carburetor to the transmission. It won't take much driving to burn up your transmission.

Once you download the manual from MyMopar.com, as @Dana67Dart mentioned above, look for the level on the transmission. If it is not connected to the carburetor, you can wire it all the way back to move shirt distances.

And yes!!! Welcome to FABO!! you'll have some fun with that Dart!!!

Give Ulf @65dartcharger a shout. He is a guru on 65 Darts and especially DartChargers plus he lives in Sweden in Tavelsjo and likely might have everything you need

In my opinion, I would look to change the early style linkage out for the more common 67 and later 3 piece linkage. The early style does not have the slider end on the top rod, which is a safety mechanism to keep the linkage from binding. The early style with the flapper mount has all hard linkage and is known to lock up, causing a full throttle situation. The adjustment for the old style is also on the down rod, making it more difficult to adjust. Just my opinion, but I would only use the early style if I were doing a 100 point resto and absolutely had to use it.

Here is a picture of the 3 piece setup, albeit the top rod in the picture is for the 4bbl carb. The 2 bbl setup is very common.

Okay, what exactly are you looking for- the throttle (accelerator) linkage or the throttle valve (kickdown) linkage?
The throttle linkage just consists of a small clamp that bolts to a boss on the factory manifold and holds the throttle cable in place. Two barrel and four barrel are different, with two barrel being much easier to find.

The throttle valve (kickdown) linkage is completely different and separate from the throttle linkage (on '66 and earlier 273s).

If you really are missing "everything", I would seriously consider using the later '67 and up 2 bbl. setup, as it combines the two systems, is considerably easier and cheaper to find, plus you get the benefit of the "slider" kickdown. Just make sure you get the later carb throttle stud to go with it.

the 67 type linkage has a 2bbl and a 4 bbl linkage and many of the parts are different

the linkage in Cosgig's photo is 4BBL (the tab on the linage is a giveaway) there are other differences too

Thank you for all the answers! I think the whole linkage to both engine and gearbox is missing (along with basically the whole wiring harness), since it was probably planned to be taken out to repaint the car by a previous owner.
I will try to upload some photos when I'm at my dad's in a few days so you can see what it looks like.
