Try uploading the photos again, I'm having a similar issue lately, an uploaded photo looks fine but ends up showing up like in your post #1

There are 5 basic covers:

65 to 68 no timing mark cast in it is bolt on on the passenger side, seal replaced from the inside

69 (one year only) timing mark cast into the cover on the passenger side and the seal is replaced from the inside.

70 to 73??? (Not sure if the change over date) timing mark cast into the cover on the drivers side and the seal is replaced from the inside.

73???? To 80???? ( Not sure if the change over dates) timing mark cast into the cover on the drivers side and the seal is replaced from the outside.

80???? To present, timing mark cast into the cover on the drivers side and the seal is replaced from the outside, BUT no fuel pump provision.

All are about the same value, 69 might have more value due to it being 1 year only.

Yea I had to find a 69 for my dart
Now I have 2
Have a pre 69 with the tab
And a couple of from the out side seals
So I guess I'll give him one of those
And hang onto the 70 ish one ...just incase someone needs one for a oe build

keep in mind the damper has to be for pre 70 or post 70 or he may have to reestablish TDC on the damper

'57-early '68 is the early cover with bolt-on passenger side timing indicator
Late '68 and '69 cast-in passenger side timing indicator
'70-77 driver side cast-in timing indicator and internal balancer seal
'78-87? (whenever they started throttle body F.I.) driver side cast-in timing indicator and external balancer seal.
'88?-91 LA and V6 engines with F.I.
