Tired of DIY!

Researching, I see people having problems with manual master cylinder pushrod length.
What works or doesn't?
I have stock Kelsey Hayes front disks and stock rear drums.
What MC and push rod do I need?
Pics and/or part numbers appreciated.
Anybody got a stock manual pushrod they want to sell? (If that's what I need)
I really don't need another rabbit hole to go down right now, but would love to ditch the booster, it's always in the way.
But, if it's going to be a pain in the ***, I'd rather just wait and spend more to buy a new pump.

I have a MC/Booster combo from a KH DB setup. I have Hydroboost and do not need it. If you want to pay shipping it's yours.... I just need to verify that I didn't file 13 it last year....

Let me know,

My booster is fine, master is fine,
my electric vacuum pump took a crap.
Looking at switching to manual brakes.

Great offer though, much appreciated!!!

NP. Can't help you on that one unfortunately. Maybe a simple trip to a pick and pull if you have one local can round you up a replacement pump for pennies on the dollar......

Well, I took the pump apart, pretty obvious why it isn't pulling vacuum.
Anyone know a possible source for a replacement diaphragm?

That is the part I would expect to not find, except in another used pump like that. Have you tried eBay?

Understood completely. Tire patches hold very well when done right; I'd expect the area beside the patch to let go first. Just one way to maybe save a few nickles for a while if you need to focus elsewhere.

Look at Dr. Diffs website, he will have the MC and pushrod you need.

Just a quick update -
Engine and transmission leaks FINALLY fixed!
Swapped to manual brakes, and they work great, actually like them better.
Fixed my header flanges, so no more leaks there.
Drilled them and welded on bungs, installed my wideband AFR meter.
Now I can start tuning!
Added hood pins.
Hoping to get at least one trip to the track before the winter to see what it runs and tweak on it.

Way to go Ty !!!

Thanks Martin!

Still haven't tackled the Quicksilver shifter install. I'd like to find somebody to fab up a nice mounting bracket, and a rod to work with the factory linkage instead of using a cable.

This is a Charger, but kinda like this-

I have been wanting to convert to manual brakes on my 74 Dart...
All others will be manual brakes...
On the shifter, stick with the cable.
Glad you got some time to work on your car, good job.

Get one for a 1968 dart GTS 340 manual disc from napa. It will have a tab with a screw that holds the piston with dual diaphragm assembly in place.
Here

I just upgraded to the lighter aluminum mp/strange master cylinder. I had the napa one linked above and it worked great, just wanted less weight.
