Radiator is old, has rusted through just below the upper inlet. Nice little drip going right onto the fan fins (which now have water/rust stains). There is no Fan shroud. Don't think there ever was. No A/C.
My question : current core = 19in w, it then has large fins on the side that reach past the opening, the opening is about 22.5in w.
Looking at all these new Aluminum radiators by Champion. Do these just fit in and get attached? Is there extra holes that need to be drilled?
Recore could be $380, new Aluminum 3 is $200.
Anyone who has installed one of these, would love to hear your thoughts.
