Hey everyone. Ordered a Hughes 2425 for my 440 Duster. Started dropping the trans last night and and realized the TQ in the car (unknown brand/stall) has 7/16 bolts going to the flex plate. The Hughes converter has 5/16th bolt holes.

If the hole in the flex plate is for a 7/16th bolt, I imagine I need a different flex plate? Or the Hughes HD converter? Or can I just get 5/16th TQ bolts and run it?

Thanks Kim. I actually have the JW flexplate, so I’m returning the converter and going with the 2425HD which has the 7/16th hole size. Hoping it’s pretty solid when I’m done.
