a properly sized and tuned thermoquad is a good carb, and so is an avs or afb or holley or rochester or autolite or mikuni. most carbs have jets and accel pumps and load enrichment etc. proper air/fuel at various loads and rpm s is proper, and if an engine requires 733 cfm , a tuned 750 carter or holley or rochester or fuel injection will make equal power

Sorry I thought this was about TQs on other makes. The only Mopar I've ever seen a TQ on was an International truck. Could not tell if it was governed like a lot of school buses are.

Dad ran one of the Comp. ones on his 455 Pontiac Wagon for some testing. Ran very well right out of the box!

Ford 460 one year only, 1974 I think. Also International Harvester, not sure what years. Those are the only OEM TQ's that I know of.
