I have a decent set of California black plates that would be original on late 1967 to early 1968 cars. I'm looking to trade for a set that begins with T or U.

Thanks!

Are interested in selling them? They are correct for my '68 Charger. PM me if you are.

Two thirds of the plates were used up in 1963 issuing new plates to everybody (last time in California). It is estimated that the last (ZZZ999) plate was issued near the end of the 69 calendar year.

From there with a little math you can come up with a list.
If you want I can center you on a specific date or tell you an approximate date for a specific plate.

Calendar Year
1963 AAA RDA
1964 RDB SDO
1965 SDQ TEE
1966 TEG UFZ
1967 UGC WEC
1968 WEH YCB
1969 YCF ZZZ

So would this be a 67 Dealer plate?

Would you happen to have the same breakdown for the yellow 1956 plates or the blue 1970s plates?

I don't have info enough on the 56 plates (I could assume that a similar initial bulk distribution rate as the black) The 70s are easy as it was just liniar, standard alpha numeric progression between a couple assumed dates. I may have already done it. The only thing is factoring in the skipped sequences.
