transmission cooler choices

Hello FABO, I am putting together a Duster with a mild 340/727/ 8.75/355
Its a brand new build with a fresh 727, block is still at the machine shop so nothing has run yet.
My tranny guy suggested a Tru-cool transmission cooler but i cannot decide which one i should buy, i was hopeing that some one can suggest a Tru-cool cooler for me, i have narrowed it down to two..

1. M7B 8X11X1.5 20,500 btu 36 plates $183.79
2. H7B 11x11x1.5 29,200 btu 48 plates $195.26

pretty much a stock build with Coan 2500 TC

The 36 plate would be sufficient, I run mine without going through the radiator. 65

i was thinking that i would run it through the radiator and then the cooler

Stock build, stock stall. I would just run it through the radiator for cooling. I wouldn't think an aftermarket trans cooler would be necessary. Who is you tranny guy in CT?

I kinda agree with you but id like to improve my cooling where ever possible
