Wow. I have never seen anything like that. I've parted out and cut up several A bodies and never seen that before. Is that from an early A body?

Yep, early A's had them. I can only assume it's because the tunnel is a little tighter and the transmission is a little closer to the crossmember. My 727 is pretty close. Theoretically, it shouldn't make contact, especially with the polyurethane mount.
You're right though it's a pretty simple piece to make. I'll probably make up something just to be safe. I was just curious if anyone reproduces them. I doubt it though.
