Transmission question for a 62 ford falcon

I know this is a Mopar only web site, but does anyone know who a friend with a 62 ford falcon could find out anything about his transmission for a ford falcon with a 6 cylinder automatic? He's sort of stuck

It could have one of two, assuming its the stock transmission. Either what they call a small case, cast iron transmission( 3 speed), or an aluminum two speed. Contact www.fatsco.com and they'll be able to help your buddy.
