Seems to work really well it self levels as long as you put on enough with just a paint brush. It don't mark up the paint with brush makes .

I tried it back in my car model days but never could get a finish that was good enough to make the switch from rattle can clear to pledge

The product that used to be called Future floor polish has been working well for me for years. In addition to protecting decals, it also can provide a layer of protection for chrome. If you change your mind, isopropyl rubbing alcohol will remove it but make sure that the paint/surface underneath won't be wrecked by the isopropyl before you start.

I've shot nail polish through an airbrush before, great results, but boy does that put an odor in the air
