I bought this new from Summit back in April of this year but realized I ordered the wrong one. I went with a Holley Sniper EFI and Hyperspark setup which eliminated the need for a ballast resistor and voltage regulator. I needed the 1 wire internal regulator alternator. This alternator is great if you have accessories like an electric fuel pump and electric fans.
