I have a new weber 38 carb and rebuilt two barrel motorcraft . Just wondering if any one has used either one and would love to get some feedback . Both have electric choke and better air cleaner options .
Thanks Bud

Many of my mazda/courier truck guys use this style carb, they all love it once you get it dialed in. Webers are highly adaptable but the nomenclature is foreign to msny of us here, as we are used to jets and power valves, not venturi size or emulsion tube size, or power jet or idle jet or pump bleed or all that other VW terminology. Can get them off pintos. Bobcats and mustang 2's. That 38 migjt be a little small, but 2 would work great. Its all in the venturi size.

If the Weber is a staged two barrel, it is FAR superior to the Motorcraft, IMO.

its a Weber DGV both barrels open (non progressive ) at the same time is that what your asking ?

Yes. Then they are about even in terms of performance, IMO. I would run the Motorcraft. It's much cheaper to rebuild or replace.
