Just rebuilt upper a arms on my 66 barracuda. I noticed a collar on the old rear bushing after I pressed in the new bushing. The new bushings did not have a collar. Is it necessary to have this collar, and where would you get one if needed.

They're not necessary as long as your bushings fit tight in the control arm, or you're doing some serious corner carving. If you are, you should be getting some aftermarket suspension parts more suitable for that.

No corner carving for me in the barracuda. I have a hayabusa and a Miata for those urges. Going to go without them . Thanks for the reply's.
