I have a 1964 Plymouth Valiant V200 Signet, I was out driving a few days ago and after leaving a stop light, the car stalled and then would not crank again.
The gauge states that there is 3/4 a tank of gas in it (though I wouldn't rule out the gauge is wrong) so I went to the station and got 2 gallons of gas to put in it.
Although the battery stated it had 13 volts, I attempted to jump the car off to see if that would work.
I have been having problems with the wiring coming disconnected from the ignition switch, so I looked and reconnected those.
The car still will not start.
Any ideas on where I could go from here?

My 69 Dart just had the same thing. It turned out it was the ground wire at the battery. Is it cranking? Or dead? Gas and spark

Jump the solenoid, see if the starter engages. If so run a hot wire to the coil, jump the solenoid and it should start. If it does start then you know the problem is between the key and the solenoid

Have your key on the run position. then get a screw driver and bump the starter relay see if it starts like this. Also put it in Neutral and try to start

I found the problem. The last time I reconnected the wires to the ignition switch, I connected them incorrectly. Switch the connection on one wire and it started right up. Thanks for your reply and advice.

had a '63 V-100 back around 1971. Back then they were pretty done when they had 8 mid-west winters on them. It was best 250.00 car I ever had..
