Vent frame/removal

I’ve read all the posts about removing the vent frame, so I’m good on taking it out. But I’m stuck on getting the pesky adjust screw out.

My question is, the front adjust screw on the lower front of the vent frame, does it turn counter clockwise to remove it? Also, do you remove it completely? It’s the bolt in the picture with the black/red striped screwdriver pointing towards it.

And lastly, does the allen head screw come out completely or just backed out?

I had a ***** of a time getting mine out actually had to heat up the screw there is a lock nut and screw that has to be loosened

I found that out myself. If it weren’t for 72Dart6pack, I’d still be wrestling with that window. I finally got it out, but you’re right, its a bugger!
