vinyl covering parts instead of chroming

Got a wild hair and decided that I may try and "shrink wrap" some pitted chrome parts with chrome vinyl sheeting. Mainly my headlight bezels and maybe my dash...any window tinters out there that may have used this stuff? Car is a garage queen, no outside storage.

I'd like to try the black or cobalt chrome stuff over all my chrome except maybe color matched the bumpers. Something like the new 300 srt8

Like I said, it is a garage queen, no outside storage. Probably yellows in UV or something. Thats ok, just peel it off after 2 years and start over. Dang, could do a fiberglass bumper with this and none be the wiser....
