It's always good when long distance members meet. I'm from north of Seattle on Puget Sound, and got to meet Rob, AKA "Rumblefish" when we wnt to a wedding on the outer end of Long Island. I was honored to meet him and buy him lunch. He's since moved to the east coast of Florida. We just made an offer on a retirement home nearby. I'm looking forward to seeing him again soon. I don't know what the long distance award is, but we're up there!

I have posted on this topic several times over the years, but you guys are spot on. Virtually every single time I have taken the time or effort to meet a member a long distance away it has just turned out great. I have been in so many different members shops and in like manner many have been in mine. I confess mine is not, nor will it ever be as clean as 340 wedge shop! But hey I like it! Just a great bunch of guys all the way around. Many greetings have turned into life long friendships. Life is just to short not to take a detour and visit someone. A five or six hour drive or literally a drive across the country is nothing compared to drinking all their hooch and eating all their food, or spoiling their hound! Great times!
Good stuff. The cleanliness of that garage is inspiring.
