Going on 2 months now for a magnum header gasket, wtf.
Even the places that say "in stock" or "ships today" don't have them.
I learned when I hit the order button and got a email saying ships from manufacturer by Oct 12th... so I cancel that and go to any other place that looks legit "4wheel warehouse"...and I finally had to call and ask 'wheres the gaskets?' ....only to get the same bullshit....Oct 12th. Edelbrock says they are out of the material they use and are waiting for more....meanwhile they went up in price by almost 10 dollars. While I'm here I may as ***** about sellers and valve stem seals ... I like the viton impregnated ..not the metal shell on guide type..so I bought some 8mm .530 for so n so's mag heads...in 5he pic they have viton inside to hold them on the guide , what I call the impregnated type...they show up and they the metal on metal comp types...nothing said pic was generic or didnt represent the product. ..hey how about mystery stainless valves at a blowout of under 100.00 bucks..lmao satellite about as thick as a brick wall. ..could drive a car up the 45 face onto a flatbed with'em..or simply wedge a door open. I'd rather have the wife throwing pots at my then one of these valves..
Are they intentional..or are they ground down LS valves... who's part # starts with a V anyhow.. these are all questions inquiring minds wanna know!

That happens to us continuously,
I wish the suppliers would be candid.
Then the stuff they finally send is Junk
and not as advertised!!

Even Dr Diff's website says parts are in stock when they are not. In my ignorance I thought Dana 60 rears were stocked by him but they say "in stock". Once the order goes in it is sent to Strange where they build and ship it. Took around 7 weeks.

Wouldn't other header gaskets fit?
If it were an LA, hell yeah.
Stock is crap. Mr.g...crap., felpro..nothing beyond stock replace silver looking thin crap.
The edelbrock header gasket has the size and seal. Just a few more days..
My truck recently puked a p0300 random cylinder misfire.. well its stock coil, wires are 13 yrs old and the coils stock location has the coil wire 22"s long..lol so i bought a msd coil n Im moving the coil closer to the cap..and ordered wires...well...been waiting 2weeks for summit plug wires for my own vehicle.."the 4th" it says.
FWIW the eddy header gasket is a great sealing gasket too... and I'm gluing it to head for shipping so he is ready to rock and leak free. Quite often you'll find me using only what I would use personally for other people's stuff I work on. If I wouldn't use it myself... not messing with it.
