Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and I just want to say that I have really enjoyed reading everyone's threads and comments. There is a lot of great information here.

I recently inherited my Grandma's 1973 Gold Duster with the space Duster package. It has literally been sitting in her driveway for 20 years under a car cover. I'm trying to get it going again, but I've run into a big snag. This weekend I replaced the gas tank, it had been leaking and there was just a LOT of rust and sediment in the tank, but when I pulled the filler neck out of the old tank, it's rusted badly too. I have looked on every website that I can find to order a new one, but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions or have one in good shape that I can buy?

I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Misty

Where are you at in Missouri? If it's the same as a standard Duster I'm pretty sure I've got at least one if not a couple laying around but let me double check. I'm about an hour out of KC, but shipping probably wouldn't be too much if you're too far away to justify driving.

If its a space duster it should have a fold down rear seat, and the filler is different than a "standard" Duster.

The neck is bent in order to clear the folding part of the panel in the trunk. Should look like this...

I have one also for a fold down rear seat. Or space Duster, Or hang 10 Dart, It should have a bend in it for the self to lay down. Let me know if others do not come through.

I ended up going to a muffler shop and having them cut the rusty end off of mine and they fabricated a new end for me. Thank you all so much for taking the time to pull your parts off and get pics of them. I really appreciate it.
