You'll need several of these- http://www.harborfreight.com/11-inch-swivel-pad-lock-grip-pliers-39535.html [i have 10 of them] and used 6 at one time on my car. And one or two of these i only have one and got it near the end you should get them they work great-http://www.harborfreight.com/welding/welding-accessories/6-1-4-quarter-inch-multipurpose-magnet-holder-1939.html And this kit [i did not have one but i will for the cuda-http://www.harborfreight.com/7-piece-body-and-fender-set-31277.html-and most important a big compressor 60 gal. tank the smaller ones cant keep up you have to wait,a simple hour job can last 3-4 hours with a small compressor i boughta used 60 gallon for 150$ at a yard sale [found it by accident].

Last link came up as no longer available.

Might want to start saving for bigger compressor, a 30 gallon is not going to run long before crapping out. When i was working on a project years ago I ran my little 30 gallon compressor hard....hard enough for it to puke out all of its oil and then crap out.....Very frustrating working with a compressor that can't keep up.....

I know if I get a bigger compressor, then I can't get the welder I want. It's a like being between a rock and a hard place.Another reason for my wanted ad here.

Hold off on that for a couple of days. I have my old one in the garage. I could not find it so I bought a replacement and then it turned up. If there is nothing wrong with it you can have it if you want it........I will take a look at it next time I am out in the garage....

Buy the sn95 mask if you get the disposable. Much better than the cheaper ones. Metal dust will really mess up your lungs.

I doubt I have anything to spare, but will try to give some advice from a limitted budget view. When I got my Ruster I had no welding gear (didn't know I'd need it, LOL) . What areas/parts will you be welding? I was able to do a lot of small patches, floor pans etc without a ton of stuff. My compressor is only 2HP with an 11G tank. A pain? absolutly, but if you don't have it, well.. you don't. Do your big cuts with a 4-1/2" grinder with a cutting disk. I actually have 2 of these grinders, the other is always set up with a sanding flap disk. The welder is the most important thing. If that ain't right, none of the other stuff can make up for it. I have a Hobart 140. I love it. runs on 120V, and comes already setup for shield gas.. I had welded years ago, but had never used MIG. If you need practice, I can recommend what I did... First project, find some scrap and build a cart for your welder. Couple tools I found very useful were spot weld cutter bit, and pneumatic flange tool.

Thank You and I have to say my Charger is pretty rusty I know that it starts at one end and ends at the other. Here is a start of it.

Thats what I thought too, but really it doesn't. The surface rust may be everywhere, but that cleans up quick and you can narrow down where the real work is. I got at mine with a coarse wire brush wheel on a drill and cleaned up an area till i could see what was good and not. Cut out the rot holes, weld a patch... I used rustoleum primer and top coat on most of it (no 'converter'). Some areas are done over 3 years now and not seeing any rust coming back.

I need to get a build thread started myself, hope to start that this week.

Like your car. I had one (same color) in mid 80's.
