I like a dummy paid cash for a dash pad for my 71 roadrunner to alan fox at the nats in columbus in aug he told me that he didn't have one there but he would send me one when he got back to el paso and I would have one in two weeks..well after a month of listening to my wife ***** for giving 425.00 cash to someone I decided to start trying to call the number on my receipt and see whats up with my pad. the mailbox was full imagine that, after researching and seeing ultimate rides was another one of his businesses I tried that number and was able to leave a message with no reply..checking with the bbb I seen he had numerous deals as mine with no resolves and I got a knot in my stomach. I emailed left messages and finally was able to leave a message on his cell that was on my receipt still with no response now its December and I know I might as well have paid a high dollar hooker while I was at the nats because I have gotten screwed by this pos..while looking on ebay I noticed that a pool company in el paso had dash pads for sale for 71-74 b bodies what a cooincedance..so I emailed the company and said do you have any a body pads in stock and what are your prices he emailed me back and said yes 209 nucks so I emailed him back and asked do you get them from alan at dash masters because I have bought several from them and love there work he replied back yes alan is my supplier so I said well I have a bunch of cores that I was supposed to sell alan but he wont get back with me so I will propably throw them away but I hate to throw 25 dash pad cores away surely someone could use them,,i actually only had one b body and one a body but he didn't know that and I asked him if he had a legit phone number because the ones I had were full and I couldn't leave a message ??he emailed me back and asked for my phone number so I sent it to him,,within 15 min of me sending this guy tim from pools supply alan called me on my cell,,imagine that so he says hello this is alan and I reply whats up man I thought you wanted these dash pad cores and you don't even return my calls or nothing he replies what kind of cores do you have and I said I have 20 71-74 b bodies some a bodies and about 4 older b bodies I told you that in ohio at the nats and was wondering what the deal is on the pad I paid you cash for but still havn't received it yet,,he goes on telling me he has had problems with the dash pads and he has been away on business an yada yada yada etc but he aint forgot about me and my pad will be shipped Thursday well another week goes by and I aint seen no pad so I text him on his cell which by the way is the same as on my receipt the same that I had called 30 times and got no answer the same I had texted before and got no reply the same with the full mailbox so I cant leave a message and within 5 min I get a text back from him telling me he had some problems with the product but would send my pad out fri and would send me a tracking number then he asked if I would bundle all my cores together and ship them to him,,i said my wife would divorce me if I sent any cores to him before I got my pad and he would need to pay for the cores and shipping before I would send them he agreed and said bundle them up weigh them and he would send me a shipping label and cash for them and have ups pick them up and I replied no problem ups is at my shop 3 times aweek,,fri I get a text from him with a tracking number so I immediately track my package and the ups site says not a valid tracking number,,so now I text him back and tell him the number is not legit and he says its shipped and when I get back to the shop ill check the number and resend it to ya by the way whats up with those cores as I really need them bad,,i said as soon as I get my nice pad in my hands ill weigh them and let you know so you can send me the 20 bucks each and the shipping labels..that eve I got another text from alan ad to my surprise it was a legit tracking number..the next week I had my dash pad and it is almost perfect has one little section that the grain is thin but barely noticeable but in no way am I sending this thing back as it took me almost 5 months to get it and I feel lucky that I had been one of the few and propably the only person who paid cash for a dash pad that actually got one,,i would have propably gotten arrested the next mopar meet I went to and seen him as 425 bucks is a lot of money to me and one who screws so many around should not be given a spot at any swap meet/car show..i would be worried about someone popping a cap in my *** if I were alan..oh by the way alan I know you will read this post sooner or later I never really had them dash pad cores and if you were a legit business man I would feel sorry for bsing you you are a bad person and I just hope the word gets spread around and you can no longer rip trusting motorheads off and I will never pay cash for any parts again as if I would have used my card they would have cancelled the deal months back thanks for the post and hope this keeps someone from getting screwed like many have,, Joe B
