Just got my 68 Dart back from the body shop. It looks like they welded up the washer bottle holes on the inner fender. There were some extra holes I wanted welded up but it looks like they welded them all. Can I get a measurement from some 68 Dart owners?

A measurment from the firewall to the closest hole is find. I can use the bottle itself to locate the other hole. Then maybe a measurement from the edge of where the inner fender starts angling down to the hole so I have two points of reference. Thanks

Look under the fenderwell to see where they were. You will have to move them front or back a tad because you cannot put a hole where the weld is with an awl.

This is from my 67 dart.

If it was me I would set the bottle with pump in place and make sure my measurements work with your bottle.

Then use a sharp center punch to mark the holes.

If you could make the hole more of factory punched hole that would be better for a screw to bite into.

Also touch up the paint in the holes you make.

Perfect! Thanks for those measurements. I'm using a custom aluminum tank for the washer bottle. I made it fit the factory holes. I'll definitely mark your hole locations and test fit the tank again to make sure they will work. Thanks

Those dimensions were correct. I was able to look on the bottom side and drilled right next the where the old holes were plugged. Thanks to both of you!
