You can watch my 318 Aspen Wagon race a $200,000 New Ford Mustang on
NHRA at the Vegas Nationals yesterday. They also filmed interviews with both drivers
both before and after the race with their reactions. My boy says right now the easiest way
to see it right now is NHRA Facebook posted yesterday.

They also filmed an extended interview with me and examination of the Aspen and its 20 year
plus history at the track. It should be available on NHRA TV and the usual sites including You
Tube etc. shortly.

They also did a feature article called "Frequent Fliers" on the Aspen that will appear in National
Dragster Magazine that should appear soon.

Unfortunately, I must have had stage fright = I had my worst reaction of the year and topped
it off by catching my sleeve in the Turbo Action Shifter and going from first to third. Only way I
would done worse would have been to wet my pants in the water box on Camera!

Question for the racers....

If the guy at the end who had no competitor had red lighted himself would he be out?

After my Race = watch two of my friends with
a pair of the nicest Mopar Race cars at the Track.
Not to mention, two of the best guys you will ever
meet.

Yes, He raced my 80 Aspen SS/MA 318 (High 10's @ Sea Level) as he
broke his transmission last week in Bakersfield Double header and his
Demon 340 D/SA in stock. I had to switch my Demon E/SA 340 to SS/JA
so as to run Superstock.

I've always loved Aspen/Volare wagons as drag cars.

What does that weigh?
