I took the Duster out for a ride around the block today.

All I can say is... W00t! :notworth: I forgot how much of a blast it is to drive that thing!

Ok, that's not all I can say.

It feels to me like the 750HP carb I've got on there now is a whole hell of a lot better than the modified 3310 I had on there before. I rolled out in front of my house, brought the RPMs up to around 2000 on the brake and then mashed the loud pedal. WOW... Lit up the tires in an instant, the motor roared and the front end came way, way up. With a bit of traction it would've flipped over backwards. Ok, maybe not. ;-) But that carb really woke the motor up!

It seems like the water in the oil problem is gone, I checked the oil after cruising around the block a couple of times and it looks nice and clean.

W00t!

I can't wait to get out to the track!
 
Soon... Perhaps. First priority (for now, anyway), is finding a job. Then racing. ;-)

My first trip to a track may be to Orlando Speedworld instead of Englishtown. :color:

No, not Pinks, but I'd like to do that. ;-)

If I get the job I've been interviewing for I'll be relocating to Florida, near Orlando.
 
I changed the personality of my car with a carb swap also. You don't think it makes that much of a difference but it does. I had too big of a carb on mine.

For the Mopar Nats you mean? Maybe, we'll see how it goes...

If nothing goes wrong I'm gonna take it to e-town this coming Sunday. It's a Wally day, I could use one. ;-)
