You can see the instructions online and just cut and weld it an inch over.
At least that's what I did

Tuning in a Carb today on the Run Stand, getting it all set up and adjusted right.

It's going on a fresh built 383 tomorrow for the initial run in.

Always shoot for instant starts, then get them up to 2000 rpm quick and run in the cam for a half hour.

318 neutral balance flywheel inside the 727 transmission case to be able to run the starter without having to turn the workings of the transmission. 383 first run in.

Can't afford a 500 dollar big block bell housing to use on the run stand, so you got to make do with what you got.

I detailed the A/C compressor in place. I use old towels to mask around irregular shapes. Turned out not bad.
