I put the chrome grilles back in last night. I agree they "pop" and look better than all black.

A couple carbs.

Always fun finding useful items for projects, and chatting with the people at the show.

Finished the body work and paint on my center console. Three of the switches are for future use. Just need to order some speakers, and then the fun of
wiring and installation can begin!

Nice day in the northwest. Had my old friend Roy Dunn add some letters, or ink, as the young people say

Keep an eye on that tstat housing. I bought the same piece and the counterbore for the SHCS bolt was not correct and kept the housing from seating. I ended up using a couple of bolts that sat on top of the counterbore and then it sealed up nicely. See photo below:

Put in a new Optima red top and took her out for a spin to a couple of the local lakes Saturday... Davis and Frenchman's... both still frozen over. First decent drive since last November.

Expecting snow again tomorrow morning.

No pictures but I’m bolting on the rear disc brakes onto the new 9” narrowed rear. Then I’m going to pull the dash off to finish stripping out the wiring. This weekend I plan on writing most of the car and then start reassembly.

FINALLY received the cam snout extension I ordered from Hughes back in December. Our grandson has Autism and the electric fuel pump is too noisy so I'm putting a mechanical pump on the 5.9. Already have a timing gasket set, now I just need to order a fuel pump.

But "while I'm in there" I'm going to replace the water pump with a Flowkooler. And I may replace the fuel line "while I'm at at"

So...didn't really "do" anything today but I'm getting closer lol.

Pulled my center section of my exhaust, to get some areas that I didn't get properly the first time. I also made some gaskets for the cheap v-band joints I installed.
