I know that Mopar folks tend to be pretty loyal...(and with good reason :D ) but I know I'm not the only one on here who is a car nut in general and occasionally day dream about brand X machines.

In addition to my Dart, I also care for and feed a 2011 Mustang GT that is an absolute blast to drive...so I'm not even anti "Ferd!"

So...what are your favorites?

While I love the hell out of my Mustang, I'd trade it in a heart beat for a nice '69 AMX.

For me a Mercury Cyclone Spoiler 70 or 71. Of course it would have to be Competition Orange.

I've always been one to like something "different". I guess that's one of the reasons I gravitated to Mopars while all of my friends in highschool were driving Chevys and Fords.
I've gotta agree with you on the '69 AMX, MRGTX, one of my favorites as well.
But I also liked Oldsmobiles, particularly the W-30s and the Hurst Olds, since my first car was an Olds - '64 Cutlass.
Here's a couple I'd love to have:

'91 Impulse RS: All-wheel drive, Intercooled Turbo, only 800 ever made...

'72 Javelin... Had one, miss it dearly.

Aircraft:
Cessna 207
hageland207.jpg

The first (and only) aircraft I ever flew... I was 11, Dad was grooming me for my pilot's license. I ended up tapping the tail on a landing light at the approach end of the runway -and- left flat-spots on the tires... Was my first time landing...

s'about it.....

If we are talking about TRUE non-mopar cars....no A's, B,'s, or E's......

Then my favorite platform CARS would be the DSM's.

1990-1999 Mitusbishi Eclipse GST and GSXs'
1990-1998 Eagle Talon TSI FWD and AWD's.

IMO...the most technologically advanced Sport Compact to date.......
still #1 Non Mopar in my books!!!!

I could TRUELY care less about the RS/GS Eclipse and ESI Eagle Talons...those are literally RICE....and worth less than YUGO's to me.
They are good parts cars for REAL DSMs' though

i know a guy with a '97 turbo eclipse. he loves it except he's had to change the manual tranny 3 times.

i know a guy with an '08 evo x the 5-sp tranny is rock solid ;)

eclipse has a nicer look to it, but not the same car in my book

Incorrect!!! The Impulse had them by quite a few years.... Unfortunately, Isuzu never really caught on in the States and thus nobody remembers or knows them... Hell, even back as far as 1999-2000, not many people knew Isuzu ever even made cars! :S

Also, I had a '94 Laser RS (non-turbo auto)... HATED it, even though with how bad she was, she still held together and got me from point A to point B...

Still, I do like one DSM (not sure if it's a pure DSM or can be called such, but): Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. One of the coolest imports ever!

INCORRECT??? Let me get this straight....Isuzu is better than Mitusbishi???...or MORE technologically advanced? The Chrysler Conquest TSI-R, or Mitsubishi Starion would rape a Impulse....right in the HEY-DAY of Isuzu...1983-1989...Isuzu was junk...hence why no one remembers.
The DSM's were backed by the European, Lancer Evolution....a car everyone knows.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Starion

Also, I had a '94 Laser RS (non-turbo auto)... HATED it, even though with how bad she was, she still held together and got me from point A to point B...

Non-turbo DSM's were junk....and worth your hate.

The STEALTH and 3000GT VR-4 were considered DSM's....but hardly one of the coolest cars ever......nothing like upgrading the factory air filter...adding a Boost Controller and grenading the Getrag 6 speed into a bazillion pieces...because Ma' told GETRAG to not put ANY extra Hp/Tq capacity into the transmission because they spent their budget on the Viper Program.....hence 3000 GT Vr4's and Stealth RT Twin Turbos are JUNK.

No offence meant.....but I am not Incorrect.
