what book(s) to read about turbos?

Just as the title says. What to read to try to understand the how-to's of turbos.
I have the general idea,could probably "draw" out a plan for one, but want to over analyze it
before I might try anything. Please only list currently available books...Thanks! Bob
 
They're a bit dated but the principles still apply: "Turbocharging" by MacInnes, and "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell.

Anything by corky bell is good. The book “supercharged” is not turbo specific but has a lot of good info in it. “Maximum boost” is excellent. Also head down to your local Barnes and Noble and go to the automotive section. There are books there that have some great info in them but they are more engine family specific.
