What did you order for your car today ?

-
i ordered a second back up camera for my truck
from the looks of it, someone may have swapped out the bed, or at least the tailgate, since the camera that is marketed for an 99-06 doesnt fit my 05

from the pictures im betting i have an 08 and up

on the bright side, i was able to power it up and check functionality and it did play well with the head unit

so youll be running on 7 cylinders?

Got the new camera in today, this one fits like a glove

I got to replace some back up lights (so i will need to order a few new ones) and once they come in, i will finish up the wiring and put her all back together

Well it isn’t exactly for my car but more like car projects. I had one of these years ago and used it weekly till it started going and I gave it to a friend that wanted to fix it. I shoemakered together a vertical saw that got me by for years. Last

week I got a 25% good on anything coupon for Harbor freight so I saved almost 100.00 on this. The yellow one is the one I shoemakered together

A clutch pedal return spring for my B-body. The car had a new Centerforce clutch and disc installed before I purchased. It was installed correctly and works well. But to do so it requires the clutch Over Center spring removal. And I like the pedal returned to original position. I'm hoping it doesn't add too much pedal stiffness?

Except for that. I like the feel and performance of the Centerforce diaphragm design. The upside is that pressure plate longevity is supposed to increase over the 3 finger Borg & Beck design. But only time will tell. Thus I will then judge.

Ordered the D O D G E decals for the Shelby tailgate 2 days ago. They arrived this afternoon. Will apply them tomorrow during recess.

4.11 ring and pinion for the Ford 9". Should be here tomorrow.

Spare tire and wheel. Seems like spares are optional equipment these days. The car didn't even come with a jack (found that on ebay). This is our 2020 Elantra. Gonna drive over 600 miles this weekend so it will be nice to have especially after getting a screw in a tire on Sunday. Going with a full size spare and plain steel wheel...

I've got a bunch of stuff I ordered for the A-bodies last year (upholstery) that's sitting waiting for me to have room to work on the seats.

Rear axle bearings and seals for the Swinger. Starting to growl in the turns.
Also rebuild parts for an A body 8.25 that's getting a Sure Grip and 3.55s along with rear disc brakes out of boneyard Jeeps.

Bergman tie rod ends/pitman/idler and a shift plate 6350. and some aluminum lowering blocks for RRR.

Fair question, I suppose. My mother-in-law lives with us. I've been working from home since the whole covid stuff started. When I take my lunch break outside or in the garage, MILsays I'm going out for recess because I don't have a real job.

Gotcha

We had my mother in law living with us for several years, untill she passed last year

It certainly made for some interesting scenarios

Ok I bought this awhile ago mainly for my nitrous build that still sits waiting. Knowing I would be gapping lots of plugs.
