My Champion radiator has the inlet and outlet in the right spots...but the extra thickness of the radiator seems to mess up the geometry a bit.

The stock lower hose is kinked, even when trimmed to fit as closely as possible...I have been through two stock hoses ($15 each) trying to make this work. :p

What's the solution? What did you use? Is there a part number that fits?

Thanks for any tips!

dont have a part number but...take your lower hose to napa or parts place and knowing the shape you need see if they have a hose that has that shape and diameter. So were finding the hose not from the parts book, but from visual comparison.
I have been successful many times with this method, not always but many times.

If you show a photo, people might suggest hoses that worked for them.

If you can't find a hose with the right bends, many rodders splice 2 hoses together. You can buy aluminum tubes for that on ebay, some w/ bright colors or fittings for a temp gage, strainer, etc. For the upper hose, many rodders buy a hose for a Ford F-100 since common, cheap, long, with many bends, so if you cut and rotate it you can fit many things. Tuners prefer the new silicone hose which comes in bright colors and lasts forever, but pricey.
