What gear ratio for a street car w/occasional track use?

I really want to have the stock look ... and I am not really excited about the hassle or expense of a Can/plate on a car that might see the track twice a year. But I am fond of my toes....
What I really want to hear is that since I have a forged Scat crank , sfi Mcleod flywheel and Clutch I really dont need a blow proof housing.
