Hey guys my flimsy factory transmission pan on my 727 always leaks. ID like a more rigid one like the cast alloy ones as they are much better. But the car is very low and I can't use those deep Pan ones. What is the shallowest rigid transmission pan I can get. Cheers

Get a new deep Mopar factory stamped pan and extended filter base With a quality gasket JMO.

Many of the fwd cars use sealant on the pans. Silicone.
I have done hundreds of trans filters, if the pan gets a nudge, its gonna leak. If the pan is too close to the road, there is nothing thats going to fix it.
Cheap sealant is not worth the tube it comes in.
If i use a gasket, cork, paper or composite, i bond it to the pan with a contact type adhesive. Clean and dry.

I have a special convex hammer I use to tap down the holes so that as I tighten the bolts the torque is spread across the entire gasket. Plus I only use Duprene red fiber gaskets.
