What is this?

Are the spider gears stuck on the cross shaft? Is the pin in the cross shaft that goes in the carrier broke? Are the holes in the carrier for the cross shaft egg shaped? All bad things

After looking at it just now, I'd say yes, probably yes, and probably yes. Here's some pics. Is it wall art? Can someone fix it? Would it be worth it to fix, or cheaper to get a new unit?

Scrap iron. Even if you had a machine shop weld up the hole and re-machine it (very expensive) you probably won't find a new cross shaft and spider gears for it cause no one makes replacement parts

Need GOOD pictures of the case half without the ring gear flange of the "half holes" where the cross pin fits. It looks like the shaft has spun in the bore. I believe you will need a new case......and if that's the case, you may as well look for another unit.

I'll take some different pics this week. I'm putting my $$ on it being wall art. Thanks everyone.

I’ve ran across a few that have had the pin welded in the case cause it was slopped out. A couple of them are still in cars. 1 has been racing low end end for 5 plus years. Kim

Yup. Time to find another one.
