What to tell the machine shop

LOL, My brother mentioned that he knew someone years ago that was making their own Pontiac blocks. There must be someone around that could make an aluminum head for a slant.
A drag head may be. (with no coolant passages) A street head probably not. It would cost $20,000 ++ worth of tooling and molds just to cast the first piece. How many do you want to buy?

With the reality of 3D printing of metals, pretty soon someone could design a head casting with all internal passages, have it 3D printed in aluminum, and then do the customary machining to the sealing surfaces, valves, etc...

I can see this happening sooner than later.
