among what is commonly known as the Gen 2 early A Valiants (63-66) what year is the most popular and most preferred?

i like the 64 best. 63 after that.. 65 starts getting to squared off and the 66 is way too flat and square looking for me..

no post for me.. and a rag top be even better..:)
 
I am biased to 63.....many know why lol

And i would also say no 2 doors for me, has to be a wagon :usflag:
 
One of one, the first and the last :thumbsup: 1966 for me, I was never a fan of a wrap around bumper :thankyou: and just look at that split grill :welcome:

I picked the '66 because my dad bought a used Signet hardtop that was in fantastic shaped for an eight year old used car.
But the two doors have odd body proportions because they use the same roof as the four door. Also I prefer the blade bumpers of the earlier years but never liked the Sideways V on the fenders.
 
I am a fan of the 66 Valiant. I will admit that I like the 1960-1962 body style, especially with the stamped spare tire in the trunk (that was my dad's favorite car ) And it was almost the first barracuda or would that have been the Plymouth Panda

Definitely '64 for me! Then 66, 65 and ONLY a 63 if it's dirt, dirt, dirt cheap!! Like $100-200 cheap.
 
a "true" mopar ite will have a garage with each year, OR be working toward that!! ha

I just missed a pretty decent runnin driving 72 with a trans plant 318 yesterday for $1000.

me, personally, I favor the different look of the 63 grill.

must be why I still have my 62 lancer!?? ha
 
I love the 63-66 Valiants. I've had every year except for 65, and I'm partial to 64 with the deep "cove" on the side and the straight across grille.
 
I like the fenders on the 65, changed my 64 convertible over to match my 65. Need to look at tail lights to tell the difference now.

I actually like the 63-4-5`s , don`t care for the squared front end on the 66. also like 67-8-9`s.
