    Hey Gang
I'm thinking about going to a larger rear tire on my 67 fastback. I don't want something crazy just something that looks good and fills in the wells better. I like the look of the factory 68 hemi cudas before they were altered by racers. Does anybody have a clue what size those were. Even better I would love to see some pictures of what people are running on there fastbacks!!!!

i am running 255/60 15 on a 7" rim 4.5 inch backspace. I have +/- an inch to the inner spring. it fits well with no rubbing and fills the rear fenderwell good with stock profile.
best to take all measurements and find what will best fit your car as things change a bit after 45 years. such as was the car ever hit etc...

235/60/15 on 15x7 standard 4.25 BS Cragar SS. I have the 8 3/4 with the large bolt pattern truck axle conversion which brings the rims out a little on each side (compared to the stock small bolt axles). Just as an FYI, the front is 225/60/15 on same size rim.

Rob that's a real clean look. I hate when people try to cram the biggest they can underneath. You wouldn't happen to have a straight on side view would you?

I have 245 by 60 by 14's on the rear of My Demon...per manf, they are wider than a 255 by 60/14 and I get so many people thinking they are bigger or wider than the size would suggest

I'm actually having the same debate right now. I also have a 67 Barracuda currently with 195/70/14s all around and am looking to upgrade to 225/60/15 Radial T/As and Ansen Sprint Wheels. The car is all stock and has the original small bolt configuration. Any chance there may be rubbing with the 225/60/15s?

If you are using the stock brakes, you may be able to get away with the 225/60's. but most likely they will rub on the front edges. I actually modified my front lip to clear. Best bet is to find someone that stocks the 215/60s also so you can have a backup of the 225s don't fit.
