Drag car or drag boat? 0-270 mph in 3.5 seconds is pretty fast on water..... What do drag boats run distance wise?

We used to run boats and it's just unreal.

Not that fast but still way faster than you wanna go...

Used to be annual hydro-plane races about 3 miles from where I lived in OH.

Sounded like giant cicadas during the season.

Boats hit the start line at 40-50 mph. How fast is top fuel? Vette flat out @200mph hits a quarter mile start line where a fueler is waiting. First he hears it and feels it. And then that fueler blows by him well before the finish line.
