Hey Guys,

I'm considering selling my 1970 340 Duster and would love some feedback on a price. It's all numbers matching unrestored Vitamin C Orange with black interior, bench seat with 4 speed...rubber mat car, original spare in the trunk, original style battery and original type tires on the ground. I purchased the car on Fathers Day 11 years ago from the original owner with 27,200 miles on it. It now has 31,200 and everyone of them documented. This car has every piece of paper you could imagine.. original owner title, documented mileage, two build sheets, original window sticker, bill of sale, warranty information and manuals. Much of the paint is original. The only things not original to the car is a FM converter and a big Sun Tach mounted to the bottom of the dash. My wife & I have enjoyed taking this to cruise-ins and local car shows over the years but need the room to start a different car. Hope the pics uploaded!

Thanks for any help or direction!
Steve

The market has dropped considerably in the last couple years, however that car is pedigree and in excellent unrestored shape. I'm not a wheeler dealer type but I'd think somewhere in the $18-22k range might be close. It's worth what someone will pay and unfortunately a lot of smaller collectors really overpaid when they jumped into the Mopar market. But being that you've had it since before the madness of 5-8 years ago you're probably ok.

Thanks for your opinion. I agree on the market and pricing information. Before the hickup it would have been another 5K in price. It does seem that good cars still bring the best money. I have a 98% Concours restored Z28 RS Camaro and have been offered real money over the last year. It's been hard coming to the decision to let this go...just because finding another of this caliber will be hard.

Regards
Steve

Wow, that's a nice car!! Z28 is not too shabby either. I'm not sure this economy is going to fetch you top dollar though.

You're going to start another car? That shop is too clean to work in!
I'd keep it, and put it somewhere else, there can't be many like that left. At least sell it when the market's better.
