So I've been trying to find the right water neck and I can't seem to order right size anyone want to come in tell me what's part number. I'm looking for a short strong one. The blue one is original could I just get away with cutting it shorter . The center of bolt holes is 2 7\8 and idky I get the one for a Mopar 360 la. Am I wrong

There's only two Mopar V8 bolt hole spacings and they are far enough apart there is no mistaking.

That's a Magnum thermostat housing you're trying to use. If you cut it, you lose the hose retention ring, plus the diameter will then be wrong. Just use the right one for a late LA.
