What's the difference between a Cam thrust plate & a cam wear plate?

Okay ladies and gentlemen, from way up in the cheap seats, in the peanut gallery, comes, "Stupid question time!"

What's the difference between a Cam thrust plate & a cam wear plate?

Do you use one or the other?

I am looking at my Year One catalog (R1110) page 252

If you don't know something..................there is no such thing as a stupid question. The cam plates are the same. There are different designs depending on engine and cam thrust plate manufacturer. toolmanmike

Just call up mancini's and order the one with a timing chain tensioner on it (unless your running a gear drive unit)
