I've eaten a couple drums of BBQ sauce in my lifetime and tried dozens of them, but my favorite is DOAT Witty's BBQ Sauce.

DOAT Witty’s BBQ sauce | West Terre Haute IN

While it is a local product for me it's still my favorite over all the others I've ever eaten.

I was told that DOAT was an older Black man that passed away and he had spent his life making BBQ, so DOAT Witty's BBQ Sauce was created in his honor.

The reason for the Goat was he liked the ladies a lot, and was always ready for a good romp at a moments notice.

What's your favorite sauce?

Tom

Not a big fan of BBQ sauce BUT I make BBQ meatballs for church potlucks and never, ever, is there a single one left over

I use 1/2 sweet baby Ray's BBQ sauce, half orange juice and a few heaping spoons of grape jelly

My go-to is homemade using Myron Mixon's mustard based recipe. I keep a batch on hand all the time.

Local BBQ restaurant went out of business in the 90's. They sold their sauce in the stores around here, fantastic bbq sauce. Now it's a mexican restaurant.

I like whatever store brand hickory barbeque sauce is on sale. Gotta be hickory.

I make my own. It has ingredients in. Whatever I cook with it disappears very fast. These beans with bacon, like such as:

Kinder’s Roasted Garlic. Kinder’s is a smaller chain in Northern CA / Bay Area. That stuff is so good you could pour a whole bottle on a pulled pork sandwich. Stubb’s is good. Cattlemen’s Carolina Gold with some frozen OJ concentrate and ground up chipotles is bomb. But nothing beats some home made BBQ sauce….

bulls eye if ya can find it, kinders and stubb's both are real good, sticky fingers carolina treat bout my favorite store bought sauce! here in north carolina were blessed with a lot of bbq joints and most offer there sauce to the public and theres several real good ones around close by,... to much bbq, not nuff time!

Cause i'm lazy i usually use sweet baby rays.. but add vinegar and cayenne pepper as it's too sweet and weak..

BUT... back when i was really into smoking meat (insert your own joke here) I bought a rub recipe from a well known smoker on the net... the rub sucked but the free sauce recipe is pretty much the best i have had.. here ya go..

I miss going out for good BBQ! My favorites were:

The Burger Barn in Jena Louisiana
Uncle Henry’s in Sheridan Arkansas
and Wade’s (kinda a food truck) Lufkin Texas. We would get his smoked Turkeys for Thanksgiving!!! Mmm

At home: Kinders Gold

If Buffalo wings aren’t too much a stretch of the topic, I use Franks and butter 1:0.75 tossed over corn starch and garlic bread crumbs encrusted & baked wings.

Rufus teague is some good ****. It doesn't have a ton of preservatives and gums too, so it's good for folks with certain gut issues.

Sonny's Original is my favorite. Mmmmm, mmmm! Good on ANYTHING! Meat, cereal, ice cream, toast.....yummy!!

Since BBQ Sauce was on my shopping list anyway, today's market trip brought home a bottle of STUBBS ORIGINAL :D Be trying that in the very near future.

Just did some searching and Whole Foods in Indianapolis sells Rufus Teague products. So the next time I head over to Indy I'll be picking up a couple varieties to sample.
