My plans are to:
  1. Lower the E.T. on both my Dusters without Fort Knox.... :D
  2. Take a vacation in the Van, and make a 1/4 mile pass too :p
  3. Like to get a little interior work done on both Dusters....

Get the engine/trans out. Drop/swap the k-frame, drop the 360 in with old trans, seas out the rear gear, put some exhaust on, change the tires, and hopefully get to at least drive it around the block...

Finish it and put it up for sale to recoup some money . Then I can start on my Keeper. I haven't touched the brown Duster for a couple months. I keep saying maybe tomorrow. LOL I may just sell it as it sits. This car is rust free and I am the second owner. bought it as a race car and sold the 408 drive line. So I put this 318 in it to sell it. Very clean original body and interior. original color. I will be back working on it this week end. Its in the way right now and we keep pushing it out.

Finally paint

Get the new motor in the car, along with the rear end and rebuilt suspension, steering, etc. I was going to put in a A833OD but now I'm thinking about swapping the A903 for an A230 and staying with the column shift for a bit. Going floor shift would be a lot of monkey business.

TTi long tubes, 2.5" mandrel exhaust, 4.10 rear gears, A100 buckets to replace the heavy bench seat, roll bar, driveshaft hoop, and maybe even fix the drivers door latch so I don't have to enter through the passenger side...

This past year I managed a 8.60 in the 1/8th mile. I'm hoping to do better than an 8.20 by next fall without going into the motor.

going to be a sweet build

:lol:Get the engine together and running, get something resembling an interior in it, hopefully not have too many bugs to work out and burn some rubber.

Oh yeah, i need a trunk floor too, that way I can install the new fuel tank!

Good memory, just a bit short lol.

I'm prepping my Duster for Time Attack events this season. 3.55 gears and Sure-Grip rebuild, rear sway bar install, 18" wheels with high-performance low-profile tires. And LOTS and LOTS of track time!! I've decided to start turning it into a more serious race-oriented vehicle, to an extent (no serious structural or body mods).

Also want to get my new-to-me 1972 D200 tuned up to the state where I can start towing my Duster to the track with it, PPIR is a 2.5 hour drive from where I live I don't want to put that kind of wear and tear on my pride and joy. Also don't want to have to worry about breaking something at the track and trying to get myself and my broken old Mopar the 150+ miles back home.

Add a clutch tamer to the 727. and add a 10 inch spacer under the dominator.
just a couple things that come to mind.

The Dart has a fresh 372 and I’d like to line it out and see some 10 second quarters with it, before I put a hard hitting 434-440 small block in it. The exhaust is gonna be a challenge as I have 3.5” 2 chamber race mufflers for it, and would like to go over the rear axle.
The Challenger is a garage queen now and the prettiest car I’ve ever owned.
I want to enter a ton of local and regional car shows, and see how it fairs. The biggest being the Mopar nats or the Ducktail Run, and the James Dean car show possibly.

Fix the tranny leak and change carb on the Dart. Get the 340 put together for the Duster and continue working on it
