wheel fitment

does anyone know the wheel fitment on a stock 72 duster with the small rear end. im wanting to know the max backspacing, negative and positive offset, and biggest rim i can go (though im only goning to go with a 16") without any modifications at all. i know its a 5 by 4.5 bolt pattern. had a tire blow the tread off and kinda figured id go something different then the mag rims that are on there now

A stock 72 Duster has the small bolt rearend. If yours has a big bolt rearend then it is wider than the original rearend. It makes a difference on backspacing.

well it has the 7.25 rear end which is what i was meaning by small rear end but i do know that it is a 5 by 4.5 bolt pattern

Then it is a 73 up rearend so that needs to be calculated when figuring the back space.

The 73 up is wider. I am thinking it is 2" wider outside drum to outside drum.

ok so it might be easier for to buy a tool to figure it out. since the wheels i have on now the rear has a neg offset and the wheels im looking at getting have a positive offset
